Mathematics has successfully demonstrated its importance as well as its necessity in various fields of physical, biological, social and information sciences. Most results in these areas depend on data-driven experiments involving simulation techniques. Thus, computational mathematics develops hand in hand in these subjects.Promoting the publication of articles in interdisciplinary fields such as finance, bioinformatics, geophysics, cryptography, wavelets, computer science, transport and engineering, among others, is the fundamental mission of the Universal Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences. Additionally, to promote innovative ideas related to the improvement and assessment of mathematics and statistics education using current technology and statistical tools, the journal intends to create a section eventually in each number. Our policy: Items received are processed immediately. Once the article is screened by the local team and cross-checked for plagiarism using iThenticate: Plagiarism detection software and peer review, it is passed on to the handling Editor who assigns referees with expertise in the field of work in the paper. Referees are requested to provide their reports within a period of three weeks. The reports of the referees help the handling Editor to arrive at a decision. In case of recommendation for revision, the Editor may advise the authors to re-submit their paper after due revision as per suggestions/comments of the referees. The revised paper is again evaluated by the same referees. On receiving the final decision from the Editor, the Editorial office at Prayagraj makes necessary correspondence with the author(s). In case of clear recommendation for publication, the galley proofs of the paper are sent to the corresponding author. After the receipt of the corrected galley proofs, an effort is made to accommodate the paper in an issue to appear next. We understand that the policy of quick decision is in the interest of both the authors as well as the publishers. To ensure speedy publication articles which are sufficiently well presented as are judged by the Editors often get priority. Accepted papers get duly edited and typeset in the style of our journal by the publisher and the galley proofs are sent to the submitting authors.

Article Processing Fee (APC): An open access journal provides a wide range of accessibility to published articles and is therefore beneficial to contributors. However, for lack of subscriptions, etc., the journal suffers financially. To meet the publication standard, peer review is required, which requires a lot of matching. In addition, appropriate editing and proofreading costs must be covered. The upkeep of an efficient office must be ensured. Therefore, we have the Item Processing Charge (APC) for an accepted item. To cover publication costs, authors are requested to arrange for APC of their accepted papers at the rate of US$25 per page.
Twenty-five reprints plus an electronic copy of one article are provided free of charge to the corresponding author. Additional sets of reprints can be ordered at the time of proofreading.
